It’s hard to cut through the clutter when you’re job searching or transitioning your career. There are more job search sites, tools, and apps than you can count, and almost all of them promise that they’ll help you get hired fast.

Some are free, and others charge job seekers, but you don’t need most of them (especially the resources you have to pay for) to get hired. You can definitely find a job without paying for anything. But especially this time of year, when it’s college graduation season, you can find special deals on sites you’d typically pay for if you want to try them out.

Here are some free resources to help you jumpstart your career.

Free LinkedIn Premium Subscriptions

College Grads: Are you getting ready to graduate and begin your career? To help you get started, LinkedIn and Amazon are offering a free six-month LinkedIn Premium subscription to new and existing Amazon Prime Student members.

U.S. Service Members and Veterans: SheerID and LinkedIn are offering eligible members of the U.S. military community one year of access to LinkedIn Premium and LinkedIn Learning.

Free Google Tools for Job Seekers

If you’re interested in a streamlined, back-to-basics job search, almost all you need is Google. Google has free tools and resources to help you with every step of the job search process and beyond.

Best Job Search Sites

You don’t need to use every job search site. Many job postings are listed on multiple sites, so you can pick a few favorite sites to use when you’re job hunting. Most of the sites on this best job sites list for 2022 are free.
